Darby is owned and loved by Carol and Glen McKay in Parksville, or should I say “they” are owned by him!

Showing Darby was a pleasure, he is such a ham and Loves to be the centre of attention. Unfortunately, Darby’s x-rays showed signs of hip dysplaysia in his left hip. We were all devastated by the news. And Carol and Glen had Darby neutered.

Carol and Glen are busy with Darby and his housemate Callie. The go for walks, play on the beach, in the ocean and go to classes.

Thanks to Carol’s dedication, Darby is now a registered therapy dog. They visit the nursing homes where the staff and residents are always delighted to see them. Darby of course hams it up and gives some love to everyone. He is a sensitive and gentle boy. He is blessed to have Carol and Glen and I believe he knows it!
